Skincare when in the air

When you’re on a plane, it's easy to forget that your skin needs care. After all, you’re usually strapped in with headphones and watching your favourite show. But it is important to remember that you should be taking care of your skin too! that can help keep your skin healthy during a flight:

Prep your skin for take-off

· Wash your face with a gentlecleanser

·       After washing, apply a  toner for a blast for hydration.

·       Moisturize  after cleansing and toning; this will help prevent dryness, especially in areas prone to flakes.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate

Drink water! Even if you're on a long flight, it's important to drink plenty of water throughout the day. You may be dehydrated and feel thirsty because your body isn't getting enough fluids. Dehydration can cause headaches, fatigue and irritability.

Be generous with moisturizer

If you have dryer skin or suffer from eczema or psoriasis, then using a good quality moisturizer before getting on the plane will make sure that nothing gets dried out during the flight time. Feel free to use a lightweight moisturiser  in-flight too if your skin feels dry and parched.

Also, don't forget to slather your face with sunscreen before leaving home because sun rays can find you while you're seated on an aircraft too!

Try to go makeup free especially for long haul flights

Go makeup free. When you're in the air, it's easy to forget how much time can pass by when flying. Travelling with a makeup free face will help prevent breakouts and clogged pores.
